What ironic about this is that these are being set up at our UNM hospital and campus. “The county has installed five receptacles — at the University of New Mexico Hospital, the Tiny Home Village and UNM’s South campus. It expects to install a sixth, with six more on the way, according to a news release.”
Dont get me wrong, I like the idea of getting rid of nasty cigarette butts via recycling them but there is no mention on the sign atop the receptacle of hinting hey, while your at it, try improving your health by vaping instead of smoking tobacco cigarettes as well.
It’s interesting how the county is more interested in cleaning up trash than cleaning up peoples health and lowering medical costs from smoking tobacco for everyone.
I wont even get into the unhealthy e-waste of disposable vaping devices.
Talking about unhealthy trash, how about putting plastic bag recycling receptacles at every grocery store as well?
