The Vandy Vape Pulse X Kit by Tony B of Vapor Trails is on the way from Hawaii, along with the Blitz Enterprises Hermetic RDA by Matt of SMM. Reviews are good on both devices so far. Opinions to come after some use.

Really smooth adjustable airflow and lots of room for coil configurations including single, dual and vertical. A PMMA plastic cap (stays a lot cooler than metal) and beauty ring are also included (with no AF control) and it has just about perfect slightly restricted MTL pull, so good. Squonk pin also included with xtra flat and allen post screws. A great value ($32) and good flavor for a standard height 22mm atty. I purchased mine at #Eccigity in HI as they are almost always first to get stuff from Asia as they are closer than we are. Pictured here is the PMMA cap atop the Pulse BF Box Mod by Vandy Vape. The two coils you get are ohm’ing in at 0.34, so just about right.

Vicious Ant Classic
Pulled this into rotation yesterday. 15/18mm 316L SS Vicious Ant Cyclone AFC with Fusion Drip Tip, 2.5mm SS single round .48Ω coil 35 Joules set at 290 Celsius. This atty was originally designed for wrapping silica rope. I so totally forgot this also has a single slot MTL setting, what a surprise! Perfect flavor and heat setting. Circa 2013. DotMod Petri V2 Squonk Kit Install
As a preface to the video, the Petri is one of the best all around rda’s ever produced IMHO. Its well made, engineered for flavor and originally had no AFC which means they carefully thought out size and positioning if the air holes and tightness of draw of a single hole on each side of the cap. The press fit drip tip is still the best tip to use with this rda for draw and flavor. I have tried other drip tips but none compare to the stock drip tip the way its designed. The cloud cap came along afterwards only by demand of people interested in cloud blowing and competitive cloud blowing events at the time vs. flavor. As time passed, the demand for 24mm rda’s came about and so DotMod came out with a conversion cap for that purpose that includes AFC as well.
Before the $5 Squonk Kit came out recently, I thought there was really no need for the small hex tool that came with the rda and hence I never used it and never could figure out why it was included because it did not fit anything visible on/in the RDA. After I watched the French video on how to replace the French conversion kit a light bulb went on, even though the guy did not even use the included allen key. I did not remember that the rda did come with a tool until after making the video. I dug in my archive of empty boxes of vape hardware to find the tool, tore down my build to try it and NO it does not fit the hex screw that holds down the negative post, it’s too small. I just don’t know why they included the tool when it does not fit. Anyway, you will have to find your own H1.3 hex bit driver or allen wrench to remove the negative post screw as stated in the video.

I meshed up…
I meshed up… next. Back in the day we used this stuff rolled up with wire around it trying to get hot spots out. We have come a long way from Genny’s although I hear there is still a small contention of MTL genesis users, mostly in Europe. I still have and am keeping my Doc Dave Ti Steam Turbine and the Kraken 1.1 I may just roll up some mesh and reminisce 🙂 #rda #mesh

So far really liking this little power house. Playing with the TCR’s on the notch coils. This mod is the smallest mod I own besides the P4you D3. Really like the form factor and features the V3 is providing. The screen is massive and easy to use if you remember all the button combos 🙂 So far the batts have lasted 2 days! #jaybo #wismec #Reuleaux
Druga and Pulse 24 RDA’s On the Way…
Been doing some research and these seem to be a good value for the buck. Also found a few cool 810 drip tips to go with these. Giving some love to Tony on the Vapor Trail. I think the Druga will be good for my mechs. #RDA #RBA #driptips
Aeronaut RDA upgrade today…
One of the best RDA’s around made by an aeronautical engineer! Aeronaut v2.5 is for sale. This kit is for the V2 only, not the V1. V2 is 24mm vs. 22mm and has the squonk pin as well. $46.83 USD with the updated tubes kit as well. Not sure what this will do but give a bigger working space for clamping. Excited to see.
