Re visiting the OG 22mm GeekVape Avocado in single coil mode. Still great flavor and excellent air flow options for dialing in a perfect draw. Interestingly you wont find many youtube video’s on this model. Most of them were removed at the time when youtube was striking reviewers I suppose. You will find several reviews however on the revised 24mm unit which came out shortly after this one. This one sports a half sized velocity deck originally created by AvidVapor with a ceramic (or delrin) insert in the other two cotton holes on the opposite side with a small hole that allows airflow to the center of the back side of the coil which gave it even more flavor. No wonder its still in demand for those who know how good it is. The cap provides a combination of either a full open mode, two or just one hole on either side of the deck making it very versatile as far as air flow options. Very tight, loose or a combination of both draws. As usual, the key was wicking the cotton to keep it from dry hitting. Get that right and its just about perfect.

Over 600 illegal vape shops in New York City have been shut down during Operation Padlock to Protect, Mayor Eric Adams told media. “Many of them have remained closed,” he said. “We’re gonna stay committed to closing down these shops.” More here.

Voodoo’s 😉 new rev 2 pod tank… Pro’s: lots of air, inexpensive, the new PNP X coils are yes, better than the standard PNP’s and last much longer.
Setting a new standard. Pretty much leak proof bottom fill port, large volume of eLiquid. Could be a pro or con, top air flow. Con’s… can’t change drip tip, air flow is not very precise. No, not interchangeable (wont fit) with standard PNP coil holes as they are a bit wider.
MTL (most likely RDL) version is on the way.
The “MTL” version arrived the following week.
It is not really MTL, more in realm of RDL to DTL which is fine for me. I cant measure the diameter of the inlet hole but visually this model has a bit smaller hole but not by much. The nice thing is that this model comes with two standard 510 drip tips that are interchangeable. The “DTL” has a static drip tip and therefore cannot be replaced. The base size is the same and are interchangeable for color mixing.
The “DTL” comes with .15 and .30 PNP X coils and the “MTL” comes with .30 and the .60 PNP X coils respectfully.
If you are considering between the two models, I would recommend getting the “MTL” model just because you can change out the drip tips and a slightly tighter draw.

Vic explains it here as well :

Since 2016 CASAA has been working cooperatively with ECigIntelligence, an independent information service focused on tracking regulatory change and market intelligence for the vape sector. CASAA assists them with their annual U.S. survey of adults who vape by helping them develop survey questions that aid us in our advocacy efforts and help take the pulse of the vaping community.
As we do every year, CASAA is asking our members to participate in this year’s survey!
WHY SHOULD YOU PARTICIPATE?
The data collected from this survey will help inform regulators, advocates, and commentators as we all work to build policies that benefit consumers. The FDA in particular subscribes to this dataset and it can therefore serve as direct feedback on how their policies benefit or harm people who vape.
WHAT KIND OF QUESTIONS WILL YOU BE ASKED?
The survey takes about 10-15 minutes to complete, and will ask you a range of questions starting with general demographic information like your age, gender, race, what state you live in, and your household income. Only a few of these demographic questions are required, however, so you can skip any you’d prefer not to disclose. After that you’ll answer a range of questions about your history of tobacco and vapor product use. The survey is anonymous, and none of the information provided can or will be used to personally identify you. You have the option of supplying your email at the end of the survey if you’d like to receive a summary of the results.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE IN THE SURVEY?
Adults over the age of 21 living in the United States who currently use or previously used vapor and tobacco products are encouraged to participate.
HOW ELSE CAN YOU HELP?
After you’ve completed the survey, or if you are disqualified from participating but still want to help, please encourage your friends and family to participate! The goal of the survey is 5,000 respondents minimum, so every person helps!
Thank you for standing up for tobacco harm reduction,
Alex Clark
